Hi! I'm Zhi. I am originally from Syracuse, I've been running my own independent personal training business for nearly 8 years now. I started my professional training career at Equinox midtown, where I developed the skills and expertise to become a NCSF certified high-end and Precision Nutrition coach. That experience taught me how to work with clients across all fitness levels.

My training philosophy is simple: progression instead of perfection, I help you feel and look your best, moving well everyday, and building a great coaching relationship along the way. I tailor every training style and program your specific goals with open communication throughout. We start by assessing where you are from a fitness level, then we build a clear and defined path towards your goals.

In Person Training vs Online Training
In-Person Training
Hands on Guidance: In- person training offers a direct and interactive experience where a trainer/coach provides feedback in real time , spots techniques and makes immediate corrections to ensure proper form and safety. This hands-on approach is ideal for truly mastering complex movements or even simple movements.
Access to Diverse Equipment: With in-person sessions, you gain access to wide variety of gym equipments and machines, allowing for tailored workouts that target specific fitness goals and add variety to your training routine. ​
Enhanced communication and accountability: The physical presence of trainer fosters clear, face to face communication and interaction for a natural boost of accountability. Trainers can push and motivate you, making it easier to stay committed, espeially if you thrive on external encouragement.
Online Training
Digital Flexibility: Online training leverages technology to deliver weekly workout plans, video demonstrations, and progress tracking. This digital centric approach offers flexibility, letting yourself exercise at your own pace and in a comfortable setting.
Cost Effective and Convenient: By eliminating the need for a physical gym space or using one at your own spare time, online training is often more affordable and saves time on travel. It's a practical choice for those with very busy schedule or limited access to facilities.
Self Motivation Required: Success in online training depends heavily on your ability to stay disciplined and on track. While supported by tools like training apps and weekly check-ins, it places that responsibility on you to maintain consistency and drive progress.
